Course duration – There are academic, pool/confined water, open water for each 2 sessions. Each session about 2 hours, about 12 hours in total.
Course cost – $14000 per person ; $13000 per person for 2 people or above ; $12500 per person for 4 people or above.
Cost include – Instruction, digital learning material, equipment rental, license, insurance.
Courselocation – Academic : Keelung City ; One of the academic session could be held online if required. Pool/confined water : Taipei / New Taipei / Keelung City Open water : Northeast Coast of Taiwan. ( Open water sessions can be arranged in Green island or Xiao Liuqiu during the northeast monsoon period. ) (All sessions could be held in Green island if required.)
Course content – Academic : Physiology, breathing techniques, pressure and equalization, the buddy system, safety and rescue concept, equipment introduction, freediving environments, etc. Pool/confined water : Water adaptation, static apnea, bi-fin kick techniques, body position and streamlining, turning techniques, neutral buoyancy, dynamic apnea, rescue techniques, duck-dive, equalization, etc. Open water : Transition techniques, free immersion techniques, equalization, constant weight apnea , rescue techniques, etc.
Final performance evaluation – Dynamic apnea 30m, arms-only dynamic apnea 15m, constant weight apnea 10-20m, blackout rescue 10m, arms-only ascend 10m, ascend without mask 10m, body position and streamlining and bi-fin kick correction.
Enrollment criteria – Over 12 years old (minors need guardian’s consent), physically and mentally healthy (if there is a serious illness, a doctor’s signed consent is required), and no respiratory or cardiovascular disease.
If you are unable to fulfill the performance requirements during the courses – Basic or Pool Freediver license will be issued according to your performance. Liscence upgrading fee will be charged if performance requirements for Freediver Liscence are fulfilled afterwards. There is no deadline for re-evaluation. Additional fee including dive- training fee and equipment rental fee will be charged. (Click Training and Equipment for detail) Additional practice sessions can be arranged with our coaches after courses (Ex. Training for Frenzel techniques, duck-dive, dynamic apnea, etc.)

To register for the course, please contact our staff, and provide personal information (For license issue, application digital learning material, course insurance, etc.)
If you have cardiovascular, respiratory or other major diseases, you must fill out a freediver medical participant questionnaire and attach the doctor’s signature.
After completing the registration, you must pay a deposit of $5000/person to register; the balance should be paid before the course starts.
After we confirms the deposit, the online digital learning materials will be activated within 30 days before the course start. Once the digital learning materials have been activated, the deposit is non-refundable.
After the course has started, no refund will be given if the course is cancelled except due to our request or other force majeure factors.
If the course is canceled due to force majeure after it has started, a refund will be made in proportion to the course completion progress.
The refund mentioned in the preceding paragraph does not include any related fees that we have paid for the course before cancellation. (ex. license issue, digital learning materials, course insurance, pool fees, etc.)
Course rights can be transferred to others before the course starts, and the transferee is required to provide personal information.
The transferee in the preceding paragraph shall pay for the digital learning materials and license issue fees.
No refund will be given if the course is terminated during the course for reasons other than those attributable to the organizer.
